Envestnet | Tamarac is Now on the Salesforce AppExchange

Envestnet | Tamarac has launched the Tamarac app on the Salesforce AppExchange.

Financial advisors can create new clients and households in Tamarac from Salesforce and they can utilize the app’s flexible configuration to easily map Tamarac data to customized Salesforce fields and records. For example, household addresses updated in Salesforce will automatically update the mailing label in Tamarac for client reporting. This user-friendly setup makes the field-mapping experience turnkey, with no need for a web developer.

RIAs that use both the Tamarac portfolio management platform and the new Tamarac app can experience the following efficiencies with this integration:

  • Streamlined data maintenance through bi-directional data integration to cut down on dual data entry
  • The ability to control and configure which data fields are integrated, allowing for deep customization
  • Single sign-on between the two systems for ease of use and daily workflow
  • Automatically updated financial accounts, allowing advisors to see clients’ financial pictures clearly
  • Tracked updates to client address and household assignments to audit when data was updated and by whom
  • Compatibility with Salesforce Lightning technology for Sales Cloud and Financial Services Cloud

“Advisors can lose hours of productivity if their CRM and portfolio reporting applications are not in sync, exponentially increasing the time it takes to enter data between systems and servicing their clients,” said Stuart DePina, president of Envestnet | Tamarac. “With this new integration, we’re providing advisors with more choices regarding their CRM platform, while streamlining their regular workflows and enabling them to provide a higher level of service to their investor clients.”

TURBOCHARGING PRODUCTIVITY

Technology integration turbocharges advisor productivity. According to a recent Aite Group study, Independent registered investment advisors (RIAs) with advanced technology integration allocate nearly 19 percent more time to client investment management compared to their peers with basic or no integration. Additionally, independent RIAs with advanced technology integration benefit from a 50 percent increase in advice activity, which translates into 57 percent more clients served, 78 percent larger books of business and 46 percent greater practice revenue compared to their peers without advanced integration, according to the same study[1].

BETTER END-CLIENT EXPERIENCE

“The Envestnet | Tamarac-Salesforce integration greatly simplifies our prospect-to-client conversion process, as well as making our daily workflows and data maintenance much more efficient.  Integrated data ultimately translates into a better end-client experience,” said Michael Kossman, COO and CCO at Aspiriant. “Tamarac continues to be a dedicated and innovative technology partner, allowing us to focus on providing our clients with a superior service offering.”

“Everyone and everything is getting smarter and more connected than ever before, and companies are looking to transform the way they connect with customers, partners and employees,” said Kori O’Brien, SVP, ISV Sales, Salesforce. “By leveraging the power of the Salesforce Platform, Envestnet | Tamarac provides customers with an exciting new way to deliver a comprehensive and scalable platform for financial advisors.”
