Bob Veres’ Insider’s Forum is More than a Conference

As one of the most enduring and insightful thought leaders in our sphere, Bob Veres (www.BobVeres.com) is continually trying to figure out how to improve and enhance the financial planning profession—and to help professionals like you who build it with your daily client interactions. This is what led him to create the Insider’s Forum conference (http://www.insidersforum.com).

This year I’ll be leading a keynote panel that will explore some of the new tools that help you create an interactive, addictive client experience that makes you fully-competitive with the robo-advisors.

SO JOIN ME September 19-21 at the oceanfront Hotel Del Coronado just outside San Diego.

This year, yet again, Bob has assembled an all-star cast of speakers and innovative session topics, and you can check out the program on the conference website. I’ll mention a few of the technology sessions below:

  • Gibson Capital Management’s Chris Sidoni, who will introduce a new set of tools that will help you co-create portfolios with your clients and innoculate them against policy abandonment during market downturns.
  • And following this session there will a series of TED Talks on other software tools for investment research, client risk profiling, and measuring and modeling macroeconomic risk.
  • Data security is a hot topic, and the Insider’s Forum program will address data security threats and solutions, as well as mobile cybersecurity compliance.

MORE THAN A CONFERENCE
As Bob says, “This is going to be more than a conference; it will be a career-enhancing, firm-building experience that will take you into the future and help you become more personally and professionally productive.”

This year’s program themes are Communicating and Brilliant Thinking, which can be defined as “exceptional clarity and agility of intellect.” These broad themes will permeate tracks geared towards firm CEOs and other strategic leaders, COOs and key Operations Professionals, Chief Investment Officers and technical staff, plus a track to help all attendees improve their communication, thinking and marketing skills.

Learn how to convey the messages that you intend.  A keynote presentation by professional performers and stage directors from Gabriel Communications will help you become more powerful in your in-person communications and presentations.

While other conferences have talked about converting a practice into a business, the Insider’s Forum is a step ahead, and shows you how to transition your firm from a business to an enterprise, with a keynote panel who has done it successfully.

Rick Kahler and Carolyn McClanahan will share how they’ve transformed their firms using the holacracy management tools to empower staff and achieve new levels of operational efficiency. Another important session will explore how you can measure and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of your operations staff.

And now that you’ve learned from leading advisors and consultants how to grow your business, industry consultant Angie Herbers will share how to reorganize your client experience and develop advisor talent more quickly to support your business’ high growth stage.
