Covisum Releases New Retirement Planning Platform, Income InSight

Today, Covisum launched Income InSightTM, a new fully-integrated platform that quickly and easily shows the impact of different decisions within a client’s financial plan.

Covisum’s newest tool resolves conflicts commonly seen between loosely-integrated planning tools. Income InSight fully integrates with Covisum’s other tools: Social Security Timing®, Tax Clarity®, and SmartRiskTM, to provide clients with a clear vision of their retirement. Historically, advisors used integrations between multiple tools in an attempt to answer major client questions, like:

  • When should I claim Social Security?
  • Which accounts do I use at which points in retirement?
  • Do Roth conversions make sense? If so, how much?
  • What’s the impact of a significant market decline?

Advisors are recognizing that loose integrations cost them time and money when clients identify inconsistencies.

“Income InSight is designed to save advisors time, without sacrificing quality, and provide them with a seamless experience,” said Joe Elsasser, CFP®, President and Founder of Covisum. “The software recognizes how the most successful financial advisors grow their practices by focusing on one core client question and using the results to move the client into a broader financial planning process.”

Income InSight will help financial advisors identify and project how expenses, income streams, accounts, investments, and insurance could be used throughout the client’s lifetime to supply the after-tax retirement lifestyle they desire.
