Apex Clearing Corporation, an independent, full-service clearing firm that is the custodian of choice for many leading digital advisors, is launching Equilibrium, a new tool that gives RIAs the capability to rebalance their clients’ portfolios daily and at massive scale. Combined with its technology that allows RIAs to open and fund accounts within literally minutes, Apex now provides a suite of APIs for advisors to build their own digital advice platform. This new technology allows RIAs to define custom allocation models, view and approve proposed trades, and automatically execute them with a powerful rest API.
The announcement was made in conjunction with the T3 Enterprise Conference being held October 30 – November 1 at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas where Apex will have a booth in the exhibit hall in which to demonstrate Equilibrium and share more about other Apex inititives. In addition, Ron Fiske, Head of Digital Wealth Management for Apex Clearing, will in a main stage presentation on October 30th at 4:15 pm Pacific Time share Notes from the Front Lines of Digital Wealth Management.
Here is a description of Fiske’s T3 presentation:
Digital Wealth Management, also known as “Robo-Advisors,” continue to experience significant growth rates. Fiske will offer his observations on where this segment of wealth management has been and where it may be going. He will highlight how the experience of core brokerage capabilities have been redefined by the Digital Wealth Management industry and offer some views on how these changes could influence all of wealth management.
EQUILIBRIUM STANDS OUT
Equilibrium is, according to Apex, the only full-stack API-based rebalancer on the market. With Equilibrium, clients can define custom allocation models, view and approve proposed trades, and automatically execute them with a powerful rest API. The tool was built for both new entrants into the digital advice space looking to automate more than just investment management, as well as independent RIAs looking to offer a digital product to clients.
“Equilibrium is the latest tool from Apex to help RIAs transition to the digital age of investing,” said Sam McIngvale, Apex Clearing’s Head of Innovation. “At Apex we are committed to developing the same high-quality digital experiences for the financial services industry that people receive in other parts of their lives, and technology like Equilibrium is a major demonstration of that.”
